Luke wanted to be rich, but he had no talent for anything, and no desire to work hard, or even work at all, for wealth, he just wanted money and possessions for free and saw no reason why he shouldn’t have them. Sadly he wasn’t even handsome enough to snag himself a rich widow. This left one option, a life of crime.
