27-year-old Tyler had always been a misogynist. Maybe it was because his dad skipped town when he was a boy, leaving him to grow up with his mother and three older sisters. Without a strong male presence in his life, he found himself ordered around by women all the time and this irritated him. Maybe it was because as he got older his relationships never worked out. Girls always seemed to dump him, often with good cause, not that Tyler would see this. And maybe it was because he was somewhat effeminate himself. Whatever the reasons he was mean to women, he treated them badly and especially mistreated hookers, hitting them, shortchanging them, humiliating them.
